POTATO PRINT GREETING CARDS ALL FROM ORIGINAL DESIGNS

Almost as a joke I began making potato prints to earn tuition for graduate work in the art of Eurythmy in 1986. Later, when I married and my first (only) child arrived, I wanted to work at home! Mrs Russell was my new name!

The earthy humble potato was a cheap and handy servant to help me with my cottage craft. Slowly and surely designs came into being. My love of color and nature combined.  My goal was to make healing images.

Now- fast forward to 2014 there are over 100 designs and potato prints are sent all over the world.
My "baby" is 25, a college grad and artist in her own right. She is designing and managing this website.

At last "Mrs Russell" has joined the world wide web, and is hoping to go viral!
I welcome your questions and suggestions!

The cards are purposefully blank inside. It is an opportunity to write your own words in your own writing.
It is a challenge to slow down, take a deep breath and create a personal message. In the end your words are the real gift that you will be sending.
